The EBMT is a non-profit medical and scientific organisation which hosts a unique patient registry providing a pool of data to perform studies and assess new trends.

YOUR MISSION

Manage operation-related functions and staff members to achieve the mission, goals and objectives of the unit.




RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Manage staff and support the day-to-day operations (data collection form creation, mapping of concepts to OMOP CDM, data quality activities, etc.).
  • Responsible for hiring, training and retaining staff, career coaching, personal development for direct reports and accountable for the performance of employees.
  • Lead process improvement for the Data Management unit.
  • Manage, coordinate and oversee various project activities within the Registry department.
  • Interpret, implement and ensure compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, EBMT policies and procedures within the Registry department. Recommend new internal policies, guidelines and procedures.


Requirements

  • Master’s degree in bio medical sciences or related field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience working as DM with clinical EDC.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office and Google tools.
  • Strong knowledge in standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Fluent in English, excellent oral and written skills.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Solid strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously and manage deadlines.



DESIRABLE

  • At least 5 years of team management experience and leadership skills.
  • Familiarized with Hematologic diseases.
  • Experience with R, SQL.
  • Knowledge of OMOP CDM.

  • Based in Leiden or surroundings - attendance to EBMT offices 2 days per week and working remotely 3 days.
  • Full-time position (36 hours/week)
  • Flexible working hours (starting from 8am to 10am and finish accordingly).
  • 1 month probation period
  • 25 days of vacation per year
  • Salary: 60.000 – 70.000 gross/year (depending on previous experience).
