The EBMT is a non-profit medical and scientific organisation which hosts a unique patient registry providing a pool of data to perform studies and assess new trends.

Your mission

Undertake all aspects of bookkeeping preparation and other hands-on financial activities. 


Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Recording, allocating, checking and following up on purchase invoices coming through the invoice capturing software (Basecone) for different cost units and their approvers;
  • Recording, allocating and checking expense reports;
  • Assisting in the preparation of the payment lists;
  • Co-manage the finance mailbox;
  • Assisting the Accounting Coordinator in all financial tasks.


Requirements

  • Intermediate oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch.
  • Professional qualification in finance and accounting (MEAO BA, Bedrijfsadministrateur, Moderne Bedrijfsadministratie).
  • > 4 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft products, particularly Excel.
  • Experience working with online bookkeeping and invoice-capturing software and processing.
  • Knowledge of accounting.
  • Knowledge of VAT rules (basics).
  • Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Ability to work accurately and structured.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
  • Analytical and creative thinking.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people in a multicultural/multilingual environment.
  • Team player.


Desirable

  • Experienced user of Google products.
  • Willingness to travel to national and international venues to participate in meetings (maximum 2 times a year).
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

  • Full-time position (32-36 hours/week)
  • Flexible working hours (starting from 8 am to 10 am and finishing accordingly).
  • 1-month probation period.
  • Temporary contract for 12 months (possibility to renew the contract if both parties agree).
  • 25 days of vacation per year
  • Salary: 2,672 - 3,287 euros gross/monthly depending on the experience
