YOUR MISSION

Delivering an European Accreditation Scheme for Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapies.



RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS


  • Support all stages of the Accreditation Process including developing professional education and standards for the JACIE Inspectors.
  • Represent JACIE and the EBMT liaising with the external stakeholders such as national societies, national representatives, Competent Authorities and others.
  • Act as the main medical, scientific and technical reference point within the JACIE Programme.
  • Lead the FACT-JACIE Standards development with the FACT colleagues as well as any other joint projects.
  • Support Legal and Regulatory Affairs Committee as an expert on Accreditation and Regulatory affairs.
  • Review Inspection reports to ensure high quality reports are reviewed by the Accreditation Committee.
  • Develop and deliver training to the JACIE Staff, Volunteers and the wider EBMT on JACIE and Accreditation process as required.
  • Develop and support the EBMT’s Advocacy strategy as relevant to JACIE and Accreditation.


Requirements

  • Must be Medical Doctor, board certified Haematology.
  • At least 5 years’ experience HSCT.
  • Experience working in a JACIE accredited centre.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft products, particularly Excel. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of new treatment strategies and scientific developments and their impact on field of stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies.
  • Excellent communications skills. Ability to communicate effectively with people in a multicultural / multilingual environment. Comfortable speaking in public.

DESIRABLE

  • Good understanding of the regulatory and accreditation frameworks in Europe.
  • Experience in writing grant applications.
  • Experience as a JACIE Inspector.
  • Good understanding of FACT -JACIE standards.

  • Full time position and indefinite contract (37.5 hours working week).
  • Flexible working hours (starting from 8 to 10 am and finish accordingly).
  • 26 days of vacation per year.
  • Salary: 65.000 – 75.000 gross/year (depending on previous experience).
