The EBMT is a non-profit medical and scientific organisation which hosts a unique patient registry providing a pool of data to perform studies and assess new trends.

Your mission

Contribute to the development of systems/tools to manage and monitor data collection.


Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Manage and analyse large amounts of predominantly clinical data including the preparation of high-quality datasets, reports and contribute to manuscripts for publication under the direction of senior staff.
  • Review study proposals/protocols, conduct feasibility studies, assessing availability of data, need for additional data collection requirements and potential bottlenecks for study conduct. 
  • Create data requests or surveys and coordinate data collection with centers.
  • When needed generate queries and work with centers, and/or investigators and other data providers to discuss, clarify and resolve data ambiguities, inconsistencies.
  • Data processing and statistical analysis.
  • Contribute to the review of abstracts/manuscript before submission. 

Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Graduated in biomedical sciences or related field (health engineering or physiology and data management or Masters degree in computer science with additional training in life sciences).
  • At least 5 years of experience in data management
  • Experience with large clinical databases, data integration, analysis, and statistics.
  • Knowledge of data management principles and regulatory requirements for data processing.
  • Some knowledge of medical terminology
  • Good communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with people in a multicultural/multilingual environment.
  • Focus on customers’ (WP, pharma) needs
  • Ability to manage multiple activities effectively, and prioritize workload within timelines.


Desirable

  • Experience in CRO (Clinical Research Organization)
  • Experience working with SPSS, other statistical and programming software (R, Python, and/or VBA)
  • Basic knowledge of statistics

  • Flexible schedule (starting from 8 to 10 am and finishing accordingly)
  • Full-time contract, 37.5 working hours per week
  • 25 working days of Annual leave + 15 days RTT
  • Salary range between 35.000-40.000 gross per year, depending on previous experience.

  • After the probation period, EBMT supports nursery costs with a monthly supplement
  • Some days work from home and some days from the office (minimum 2 days at the office), although during the training period, you will be mostly at the office.
