As EBMT continues to strengthen its Quality Management System and Compliance Programme, we are looking for a Transversal Quality Assurance Coordinator to support quality management, compliance monitoring, risk assessment, and Conflict of Interest management across the organisation.

Your mission

As a Transversal Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will coordinate quality and compliance processes across EBMT, including Conflict of Interest management, compliance risk monitoring and policy implementation. Work closely with unit managers to ensure effective controls, appropriate mitigation measures and continuous improvement across the organisation.


Responsibilities and Tasks

 

Quality Management


  • Provide Quality support to all EBMT Units and Departments and drive implementation of the EBMT Quality Management Systems (QMS) based on ISO 9001.
  • Support and active contribution in generating and reviewing documentation., support in the maintenance of the Quality Management System and Indicators, and to change control management.
  • Responsible for conducting risk assessments and for communicating Quality risks within the organisation.
  • Assess and resolve deviations Investigations, CAPAs, and Complaints to assure timely resolution to area of responsibility.
  • Conduct and support internal and supplier audits, process/product improvement projects, supplier evaluations, and disposition activities to assess compliance with international standards, regulatory requirements and EBMT procedures.


Business Compliance

 

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the EBMT Compliance Programme.
  • Support the identification, assessment and monitoring of compliance and business integrity risks.
  • Provide compliance guidance and support the development and implementation of relevant policies, procedures and controls.
  • Support compliance monitoring, awareness and training activities, escalate identified risks or non-compliance when required.

 

Conflict of Interest (COI) Management

 

  • Coordinate the operational implementation of the EBMT Conflict of Interest Policy and related processes.
  • Manage and maintain the Conflict of Interest Registry and coordinate the collection and monitoring of COI declarations.
  • Support the assessment of potential, real or perceived conflicts, and escalate cases when required.
  • Coordinate and document agreed mitigation measures and monitor their implementation and effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance and awareness on Conflict of Interest declaration and reporting obligations.


Requirements

  • Fluent in English, excellent oral and written skills.
  • Master’s degree in biomedical sciences or another related field.
  • Three years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience writing and reviewing documents for regulatory compliance (SOPs, policies and reports.).
  • Experience in implementing Quality Assurance processes and Quality Management Systems (QMS) based on ISO 9001, including Internal Audit performance, and in Risk assessment and management
  • Experience in compliance, business integrity, governance, risk management or a related control function.
  • Experience in Conflict of Interest management, compliance monitoring or internal controls.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and other Quality Management Systems.
  • Understanding of compliance, business integrity and Conflict of Interest management principles, including identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoring.
  • Willingness to travel to national and international events to lead, participate in meetings.
  • Good attention to detail, ability to achieve objectives within agreed timeframes, strong planning and organisational skills, initiative, autonomy, integrity and discretion, and sound judgement.



Desirable
  • Experience with working in the non-profit sector
  • Knowledge of ISO 37009:2025 – Conflict of interest in organizations — Guidance
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, and effective communication and interpersonal skills,

  • Salary: 31.574 (scale 13.0) to 34.595 (scale 13.3) gross/year (depending on previous experience).
